This pot de creme set has a manufactures’ mark that shows it was produced somewhere between 1850 and as late as the late 1910's.  Our guess given the style and colors is it was probably produced close to 1920.  There are not chips or cracks in this old set but decoration on the tray is showing some age.  It is a simple; classically style pot de creme set that includes 6 cups with lids and a matching tray.  The colors are nicely muted shades of celadon and a slightly muted red.  The set was hand painted and the painters mark, in red, can be seen in the image showing the back stamp on the tray.

The cups have two handles, a style very popular in Europe.  The cups have embossed ribs and the lids sport a simple button finial. The painting on the cups and lids is good condition with some small amount of loss.

The set was produced at the Pillivuyt factory in Mahun, France.  The mark shows it was produced by C.P. & Co.  The C.P. stands for Charles Pillivuyt.

Tray: 7 1/2" wide.
Cups: 3" wide from handle to handle and the 3" high to the top of the finial.
