limoges flying bird pot de creme set 5 with tray

A beautiful set made by Limoges, France. The tray is 12 1/2" wide with a scalloped edge and displays flowers and a bird in flight hovering over a basket of fruit.  All of the pots and the tray have a gold rim, and the finial is burnished in gold as are the handles. Each cup measures 3 1/2" wide by 3 1/2" high with a matching scalloped base.  Limoges produced many sets with different bird designs but this one is a stand out with the beautiful center basket.

 

Condition: The set is in very good vintage condition, no cracks or chips. There is a 6th cup which will be included and is sadly missing its lid but is still perfect for serving.
