figural chicken faience pot de creme

This is a charming little pot de creme cup hand-painted and signed, made in France.  It is a Faience, earthenware cup with two handles and 3 little feet.  The finial on the lid is a figural chicken head.  There is a little scalloped border on the top of the lid and matching border along the top of the cup.  The design is painted in shades of blue and gold on a bone-color background. The capacity is about 2 ounces.  We have one cup and lid set only available.

 

Dimensions:  The cup is 3 3/4" wide from handle to handle and about 4" tall to the top the chicken's comb.

Condition Notes:  No crazing, chips or damage of any kind.
