ancho chile powder

Ancho chile powder is our go-to chile powder for everyday cooking. No matter if you are making a seasoning rub, maybe some soup, stew or even salad dressing, this medium heat chile powder will make a perfect addtion. As always we add no additives or preservatives and it is packed in our tin with view-through lid or in bulk.  Ancho is the most widely used chile in Mexico.  On a relative heat scale of 1-10 the ancho is about 3-5.

Flavor: Sweet, mild fruit flavor tones of plum and raisin.
