Plum Jam

An Indian recipe for Plum jam is served with chapati, dosa and idly.

Remove seed from plums and puree in a blender.  Combine the puree with garam masala, white pepper and salt.  Place in a medium pan and bring to a boil.  Add the sugar and boil until the mixture thickens.  

Remove from the heat and add the white vinegar, set aside to cool.  Once the jam has reached room temperature store in sterilized glass jars.
