Pistachio Whipped Cream

Serve pistachio whipped cream with a fresh fruit tart, or alongside a bowl of fresh seasonal fruit.

    • 1 cup whipping or heavy cream, chilled
    • 1 tablespoon confectioner's (powdered) sugar
    • 1 teaspoon pistachio liqueur (made in Italy, purchase at a liquor store, or on Amazon)
    • 1 tablespoons crushed pistachio nuts


Combine cream, sugar and liqueur in a deep, chilled bowl.  Mix with an electric mixer until soft peaks form. Fold in nuts and serve, or nuts may be sprinkled on top.
