Pink Peppercorn-crusted Tuna with Wasabi Oil and Miso Mashed Potatoes

Tuna steaks are rubbed with pink peppercorns then seared and served with garlic chips and Wasabi Oil Mashed Potatoes.

Miso Mashed Potatoes
Boil potatoes with garlic cloves until tender. Drain and mash with miso paste, butter, and cream. Season with salt and pepper.

Garlic chip garnish
Slice whole garlic cloves very thinly. Fry with plenty of oil to cover over low heat until lightly browned and crispy.

To prepare tuna, rub one side with pink peppercorns, salt and pepper to taste. Sear both sides in heated saute pan with oil. Drizzle top with wasabi oil and garnish with garlic chips.
