Pan Roasted Caulilini Baby Cauliflower

New for 2019, Caulilini is a baby cauliflower which our recipe pan roasts with a garlic infused olive oil. The dish is finished with fresh lemon zest and juice then topped with hot red pepper flakes.  Serve as a side dish with roasted or grilled meat or fish.

Caulilini

Prepare the garlic infused olive oil

Add the garlic infused olive and Caulilini to a large sauté pan on medium high heat and sprinkle with the hot red pepper flakes. 

Sauté for two minutes or until the caulilini stems start to turn bright green.  Now add the lemon zest and juice. Season with salt and serve immediately.

Garlic Infused Olive Oil

In a small pan on medium heat slowly cook the garlic until it just starts to turn color.  Immediately remove from heat and allow the garlic to cool in the oil.
