Mango Whipped Cream

Serve mango whipped cream with fresh tropical fruits, a simple angel food cake, or a tropical side to key lime pie.

    • 1 cup heavy cream, chilled
    • 1/4 cup powdered sugar (or to taste)
    • 4 tablespoons mango puree*


Place cream and sugar in a deep, chilled bowl.  Use an electric mixer and beat until soft peaks form.  Gently fold in the mango puree until well incorporated.  Use immediately.

*You can make you own mango puree.  Peel and slice a fresh mango.  Place in a food processor and blend until smooth.  Frozen mango puree can be purchased in some specialty stores and it available online at Perfect Puree.
