Give the beef a quick rinse under cold running water ten pat dry with paper toweling.  Now place the meat in a freezer zipper bag and place in the freezer about 2 hours until very cold but not frozen through.

Slice the beef as thinly as possible.

In a bowl combine all the marinade ingredients and stir to combine.  Add the beef slices and turn to coat the slices well with the marinade.  Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the beef to marinate at room temperature for about 2 hours.  Stir the beef occasionally during the marinating process.  If you start this the night then marinate the beef in the refrigerator.  Allow the beef slices to warm to room temp before grilling.

Grill Beef

You can grill the meat on an outdoor grill or under your broiler.  Grill or broil for about 30 seconds, each side.

Each person takes a lettuce leaf and tops with a little meat then tops with the condiments of choice.  Roll the lettuce around the meat and eat out of hand, like a taco.
