Hazelnut Whipped Cream

I love this flavored cream with a simple spice cake.  The whipped cream is flavored with Frangelico, a hazelnut liqueur and vanilla bean.

    • 1 1/2 cups heavy cream, chilled
    • 1 vanilla bean split, seeds scraped
    • 1 tablespoon superfine sugar or powdered sugar
    • 1 1/2 tablespoons Frangelico liqueur


Combine cream, vanilla seeds, sugar and Frangelico in a chilled bowl and mix with an electric mixer until soft peaks form.  If you are making this ahead of time then powdered sugar will help to keep the cream firm.  Refrigerate until use.
