Fresh Peach Salsa

This fresh peach salsa recipe can be served with fish, pork or chicken or over your favorite taco. Make sure to let this salsa stand for one hour before serving to allow the flavors to mingle.  The recipe includes jalapenos, fresh peaches, tiny cherry tomatoes, red onion, cilantro and lime.

    • 1 each ripe peach, chopped
    • 1/3 cup chopped cilantro
    • 1/3 cup finely chopped red onion
    • 1/2 cup small cherry tomatoes cut in half
    • 1 each jalapeno pepper, seeded and deveined then finely chopped
    • 1 each juice from one large lime
    • 1 each salt to taste


Combine all ingredients (except salt)  in a small bowl.  Toss lightly to combine.  Add salt, taste and adjust as needed. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap and allow the salsa to sit for an hour before serving.

Serve the salsa along side any roasted meat or fish, atop tacos, or just as an appetizer with freshly made tortilla chips.

Additional Notes

You can substitute canned peach slices if peaches are not in season.
Prep time includes the one hour resting time.
