Basic Sweetened Whipped Cream

The basic recipe for sweetened whipped cream using heavy cream, vanilla and powdered sugar.  Use this basic whip cream with any dessert from puddings to cakes, pies, quick breads or scones.

    • 1 cup whipping (heavy) cream
    • 1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
    • 1-3 tablespoons confectioner's (powdered) sugar to taste


Whip cream until stiff then fold in the vanilla and sugar until evenly incorporated.
