This is a fresh, uncooked salsa so most of the prep time is preparing the tomatillos. Use tomatillo salsa with tortilla chips, top a taco, or even use over fresh enchiladas.
Peel the husks of the tomatillos and dice then place in a medium sized bowl.
Mix the diced tomatillos with onions, garlic, lime juice, Mexican oregano, Serrano chilies, cilantro, and salt and pepper to taste.
Serranos chiles are normally quite hot so add according to your tolerance level.
