Worcestershire Sauce

Instructions
Preheat oven to 400F
Peel onions but do NOT cut tops or bottoms. This will insure the onions will hold together.
Place in a deep casserole dish with milk and salted water then microwave on high about 8-10 minutes until almost tender.
Drain onions.
Meanwhile, make bread crumbs and grate the cheese.
Mix 3/4 C breadcrumbs, cheese, salt, pepper, Worcestershire Sauce and pecans.
Cut a slice from the top or bottom of each onion and scoop out all but at least 2 outer layers of onion.
Chop pulp finely and saute in 1 1/2 Tbs. butter. Add to the bread mixture and mix well.
Melt one Tbs. of butter in the casserole dish. Stuff the onions and put them back in the dish. Top with remaining 1/4 C breadcrumbs then dot with 1/2 Tbs. butter.
Bake at 400 degrees for 20-25 minutes.
