This is the GourmetSleuth's version of the tropical Mai Tai. Our frosty concoction includes a liberal dose of POG. POG is Hawaii's popular combination of Passion Fruit, Orange, and Guava juices.

Trader Vic's Mai Tai mixer

ounces
POG (you can make your own by mixing equal parts of each juice, passion fruit, orange juice, guava juice)
1
fresh
pineapple spear
Instructions
Fill glass with ice cubes then add the two types of rum. Add the Mai Tai mixer, then the POG. Garnish with the pineapple spear. If you pour each ingredient into the glass slowly you'll see different color layers. Your guests can use the pineapple spear as an edible stir stick.
