r is the dried berry of a Tasmanian plant of the Winteraceae family. Used in Australian cooking for marinades, grilled meats and stews. While not the same flavor Tasmanian pepper shares some of the attributes of Szechwan Pepper and has become a substitute in the US since the ban of the Szechuwan peppercorn. You can
