Strangozzi is a type of wheat, thin ribbon pasta originally from the Umbria region of Italy. The name is derived from "strenghe" which means long shoe laces. This pasta would traditionally be served with a meat or tomato sauce and sometimes with shaved black truffles.
You can also purchase strangozzi which is already flavored with black truffles. This pasta would be served with a little olive oil and freshly grated cheese.
Boil strangozzi in water for about15 to the al dente stage.
