Dry salad dressing mix is a common convenience food available at most any grocery store. Most contain an array of dried herbs, spices, sugar or other flavorings. Some may contain dehydrated cheese. These products typically contain a very high amount of salt so people with salt-restricted diets should read labels carefully.
Common varieties include Ranch and Italian. There are special sugar-free and low-sodium varieties as well.

Combine all ingredients in the container of a food processor or blender and process on high speed until well blended and powdery smooth. To Use Combine 1 tablespoon dry mix with 1 cup milk and 1 cup mayonnaise. Mix well.
To Store Store your unused dressing mix in a small glass jar with a tight fitting lid in a cool dry location (like your pantry). It will store easily for at least 6 months.
