What are Plums?
A widely cultivated stone fruit plums come in variety of colors including reds, greens, purple and yellow. Aside from being a sweet, plump, succulent fruit plums are high in vitamin A and potassium. Eat plums fresh or cooked, in jams, preserves, pies and savory dishes as well. Some varieties of plums are dried and called prunes.
