Peanut Butter is a smooth creamy paste made from roasted ground peanuts. Commercial versions typically contain sugar and salt to enhance the flavor. Oil is a common additive as well used to emulsify the fats to keep the peanut butter from separating. Peanut butter is available in smooth as well as "chunky" styles with the later containing small bits of roasted peanuts.
