What is Parmesan cheese?
A dry, hard grateable cheese from the Parma region of Italy. Although many domestic versions are available there is no replacing the flavor of traditional Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese. This classic Italian specialty is used shaved fine over vegetables or salads or added to pastas as well as many other dishes.
