A small hand tool used to lop the top off of a soft boiled egg. To use, slide the round opening over the top of the egg (it is useful to have the egg seated in an egg cup). Squeeze the two finger rings together. Small "teeth" that are hidden inside the round opening crack through the egg shell. The top of the shell is then removed and the egg is ready to scoop out and eat. The image below shows the results of using the topper. The little piece of shell is removed leaving an opening to dip your spoon so you can access the egg inside.
