Crab is a variety of crustacean (critters with a shell) with 10 legs. Crabs are eaten in many countries and noted for their sweet meat. Common varieties include Dungeness crab from the Pacific ocean, King and Snow crab from the North Pacific, and Blue Crab comes from the Gulf coast and Stone Crab from Florida. Crab is sold fresh whole, live or cooked or large pieces of white meat referred to as "lump crab meat".
