What is Couscous?
Couscous is just a "grain" form of semolina which is coarsely ground durham wheat. Couscous is a staple grain in North Africa. It does not require cooking you can simply add hot water and "steep" until the water is absorbed. The moistened "grains" can then be eaten warm like a breakfast cereal or cooled and used as a salad.
Couscous can be purchased in most any grocery store.
