What is Cooking wine?
Cooking wine is typically a lower quality wine with added salt. Cooking wine is available in white or red varieties. We highly suggest using any good quality drinking wine for a better result in cooking.
Substitute for Cooking wine
For red cooking wine substitute any good red wine such as a zinfandel, Cabernet, or sangiovese. For white cooking wine use sauvignon blanc, or a riesling.
