Chilhuacle rojo
chiles are one of the hardest to find chiles from Oaxaca. Supplies are limited so stock up while they are available. One of the key ingredients in a traditional mole rojo. These are only grown in southern Mexico. The chiles are sometimes broad-shouldered about 2-3" long and 1 1/2" at the widest end and other times bell pepper shaped. A medium-hot, sweet chile.
