Cheescake is a dense cake made commonly from cream cheese, sugar, eggs, flour and vanilla. New York is famous for having the best cheese cake available. Cheesecakes frequently have graham crack crumb crusts but other crusts may be used including nut crusts. The cheescake shown uses a nut crust.
In the 2000's cheesecake pops became very popular. These were little balls of cheesecake on a stick. They were great as a small dessert portion and easy to eat too. Use the link to view a good recipe for the pops.
