What is Canned shrimp?
Canned shrimp are small shrimp which have been cleaned and shelled then packed in water and cooked. The cans make a good "emergency provision" in your pantry. Shrimp are high in protein and low in calories. They can be eaten as is or used as a topping for a salad or added to a soup or fish stew. Alternately you can serve them with a simple cocktail sauce.
