What is Cane Juice?
A slightly higher in nutrient version of liquid sugar,
cane juice
(sugarcane juice) is expressed from sugar cane stalks and is available in liquid form. Cane juice is actually served as a beverage in Vietnam as well as other cane-growing countries and is finding popularity in the US as a more healthful form of sugar. In reality there is little nutritional advantage to this form of sweetener.
Substitute for Cane Juice
As a beverage you could substitute coconut water which contains far less sugar and is in general a more healthful beverage.
