Caciotta Al Tartufo cheese is an Italian cheese made by combining sheep's and cow's milk with shavings of black truffle. The truffles provide a distinct mushroomy aroma and taste. After aging the chee60-75 days the cheese is ready for the table.
Serve Caciotta Al Tartufo on your cheeseboard with rustic crusty bread and a dry white wine such as a New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc or a red such as Merlot. Alternately you can add this cheese to a recipe for Mac and Cheese.
