A hand painted pot de creme cup from the Royal Vienna porcelain factory. This unique cup has a distinctive intricate floral finial that looks like Murano glass with delicately painted tips on the leaves. The body design is floral with gold trim. The piece most likely dates back to late 18th century or very early 19th century. The cup is marked with the blue shield mark underneath and an impressed L or l.
Sadly this piece has several damages. The finial was broken off and glued back on. The cup lid has a glue chip and there is a fine hairline crack on the cup. The piece is nevertheless a beautiful example of porcelain work.
