This pot de creme cup is decorated in the Chinese Export style. The decor displays Chinese men in various settings. The lid has a floral design with a delicate orange outline on the leaves and stem of the figural finial.
The cup was produced by Theodore Haviland, Limoges and sold through a Paris retail store and gallery called Le Vase Étrusque. The store was located at 20 Boulevard Malesherbes. The establishment was in business from the late 1800's through the early 1900's.
