Pot de creme cups from the Meissen factory are plentiful but remain expensive and highly collectible. This example is a lovely floral design with brightly colored flowers in shades of pink, yellow, purple and blue.
The finial is flower in bud surrounded by two raised green leaves. This cup includes a matching saucer.
The cup is marked with the traditional crossed swords. The Meissen factory began producing pot de creme cups as early as 1750.
