Alfred Knobler was the owner of the gift imports and wholesale company, Alfred E. Knobler & Co. Inc. Mr. Knobler earned a B.S. in Ceramic Engineering from Virginia Polytechnic Institute in 1938. Pot de creme cups and sets were among the many items imported by his company. The white pot de creme set shown here was manufactured in Japan sometime between the early 1960's to mid 1970's. Japan produced many pot de creme sets for Fitz and Floyd as well as Seymour Mann and Knobler.

Knobler International was located in Moonachie, New Jersey. Knobler passed away at the age of 92 on November 21, 2007.
