Pedros is Los Gatos local Mexican restaurant (of the American style variety) that's been in business since 1972. They have a lively bar and happy hour, decent margaritas, pretty good chicken nachos. They offer a Sunday Brunch and have a little outdoor seating at the entrance of the restaurant. The restaurant is right across the street from the Bank of America.
Try their red tomato salsa with the house chips; they have the BEST salsa in town made with charred tomatoes and scallions, excellent!
Pedro's office special drinks and appetizers Monday through Friday from 3:00pm to 7:00pm. In the bar only. The tacos and chicken nachos are great! Happy hour foods are only $5.00 each. You get 2 big tacos for $5.00! And the tacos are good too. My favorite is the carnitas taco but there are a couple chicken taco options too.
There is parking on Santa Cruz Ave. If you don't find a spot you can go behind Pedro's and drive through to the town parking lot (past Manresa restaurant).
