La Hacienda **Closed
This restaurant was a very high end continental cuisine eatery. Think of a place you would dress up for dinner. It was an "adult" place; not a place you'd typically find children running around. I happened to have my wedding rehearsal dinner here, way back when. We considered this restaurant a "special occasion" place where you'd find classic dishes like Veal Picatta, Escargot, and Steak au Poivre. You'd have a cocktail before dinner (maybe in the little intimate bar at the front of the restaurant) then share a glass of wine (maybe a bottle) with dinner.
As of 2019 the last remaining food and bar establishment here is Jack Rose Libation house. The cocktail lounge was built up in the parking lot area. Eventually then opened up a part of the original dining area as a beer and food service area.
Sadly that will be going away too because the 25 acre property is going to be bulldozed and transformed into multi-family and some single family homes.
