The Los Gatos Diner offers the usual diner fare. Real good fountain style milk shakes. Large portions. It has a 50's style building and interior, quite retro for the old American diner experience. My favorite thing there was the fresh banana milk shake, huge portion, fattening but delicious!
The restaurant is open daily for breakfast, lunch and dinner. You can see their menu here.
Car clubs convene here from time to time so you can see some really cool cars in the parking lot.
The Diner of Los Gatos is one of the few places in town that has their own, great parking. This is a real feature because downtown parking can be difficult.
As we walked downtown this weekend we see that the Pastaria staff is making progress on their new location. Tables are in and it appears wine (and perhaps food) is being tested out. Please note the current location on Main Street is still open for now.
I have a feeling it will be a packed-house once they open. The new restaurant will be located at 27 N Santa Cruz Ave (previously OPA).
