Cafe Sienna , opened in 2006 was a small cafe with fabulous pastries, coffee drinks, and light lunches, salads, soups and sandwiches. The business was owned and operated by a husband and wife team Tom and Cecilia Pavicic who have created a European atmosphere that caters to the Los Gatos chic crowd.
The cafe has wonderful outdoor and indoor seating. The outdoor seating is dog-friendly.
This was a favorite hang out of Jackson Green, a colorful well-known resident.
If you are one of people who loved their sfogliatelle pastries (they flew them in from New York) you can still get them in Lunardi's Bakery department of the grocery store.
The cafe closed in 2008. The location was later opened as Purple Onion. While not the same as Cafe Sienna it is still quite good.
There is street parking on Main St up the side street (turn at the Penthouse Apartments), there is a lot at the end of the street.
