Bourbon Street Bistro Took over the old 180 Restaurant, across the isle from Mt. Charley's in 2009. Cajun style food. The chefs are Jerry and Tennessee. They serve the Cajun fare you'd expect, catfish beignets, gumbo and etoufee.
The bistro offered live music as well.
As of 10/22/09 we can't quite get the scoop on this place; not sure if they are open or not. We went by and there is a sign, no hours, it was a weeknight 7:30pm, doors locked. We never did find out what happened; it almost seemed as the restaurant ran a "test" and evidently didn't feel like there was enough interest.
ASA Los Gatos opened around the 6th of October in the former location of Grill 57. This restaurant replaces the Basis in Saratoga for owner Andrew Welch.
The Pastaria and Market new location on 27 N Santa Cruz Ave seems to be progressing nicely. So far, there has not been an announcement of an opening date.
Mike Williams, the owner of the Southern Kitchen, is opening a new restaurant in the space that Le Boulanger just vacated. We don't know a lot yet, but he's said they'll be offering locally sourced "clean eating" dishes as well as hand-crafted organic cocktails.
