Billy's Boston Chowder House opened in September, 2011 and is located in the previous home of 2wenty 9ine East Main Cafe. Billy's brings us a little East Coast style chowder and seafood fare. Specialties includes the Lobster Roll, Fish and Chips, Cioppino, Crab Cakes and of course, chowder. Dining is casual and you can try them out for lunch or dinner.
The restaurant has a couple of sidewalk tables but most all the seating is inside.
There may be street parking available but it is limited. You can park further down the street in front of the Los Gatos Library. It's a short walk of about a block and a half.
Right before Billy's opened up this restaurant was the Smoky Market. It was a short lived business that served mostly smoked meats with a few sides.
Before that it was 2wenty 9ine East Main Cafe. The cafe was best known for their pizzas and great coffee drinks.
