I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

I need "something" before gym and I'm out of almost everything. I decided to eat yesterday's leftover tuna salad with a couple of small tomato slices. I headed out for the gym, first day back in about a week or week and a half.
I took a short walk right after gym then returned to have my old standby, the Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake (1/2 serving).
In an attempt to clean out the refrigerator I heated a small Pyrex with about 1/3 cup Beef Stroganoff and that was lunch.
Small lunches tend to lead to bigger than I should have snacks. I sliced 1 ounce of Catamount Hills cheese and enjoyed it with 4 walnut halves. I got another walk in to complete my 10k for the day.
I wanted to use my fried chicken leftovers from last night. I heated one piece of chicken breast, which is a strip that is 1/2 of a 1/2 breast. I also had about 1/3 of a cup of the leftover beans.
I decided to go outside for another short walk. Not because I needed more exercise but just to get outside. I wasn't going to have anything for a snack or dessert but at about 8:30 I was kind of hungry so I ate one ounce of raw cashew nuts. I could have done worse.
I got a good amount of exercise, hopefully enough to offset the fried foods. I should not even be posting this under the Slimming World blog because how I've eaten these last few days is not a representation of what they are about. I'll be making changes to the blog in the next couple of days. I'll keep you posted.
