I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

I'm not really a big fan of eggs but they're easy and healthy. Today I scrambled 2 eggs (I rarely eat 2 eggs) with some fresh chopped tomatoes. I added a little salt and pepper. I'd have added spinach or other greens if I'd had them but alas, I didn't. It needed more flavor so I grated a tiny bit of fresh Parmesan on top. Only those few shreds of cheese would be counted as a syn.
First I had a few little pieces of jerky. A little later I sliced of 3 bits of Parmesan about 1/16" thick and 2x2" square(ish). I washed it down with some water. Although I'm not tracking it I am trying to increase my water intake.
I couldn't stomach any more leftover steak slices for now so I had a little ham salad. I cut little cubes of ham, some scallions and some celery and combined it with a little mayonnaise and some sliced black olives. I picked a small tomato from the garden and served the ham salad on the tomato. It tasted OK. It would have been better if I'd it prepped an hour or so ahead to give it time for the flavors to combine. I was too hungry to wait. Fats like mayonnaise are in the syn category as are the olives. Ham, tomato, celery and onion are all free. You could mix some non fat plain Greek yogurt with some herbs and substitute that for the mayonnaise to keep it syn free.
I had a few slices of Parmesan cheese to tide me over until dinner.
I wasn't particularly hungry so I ate a few more slices of leftover steak. Later I had some cucumber wedges with Bolthouse Greek yogurt blue cheese dressing. This is just 35 calories for 2 tablespoons.
My cucumber was after dinner so I'm going with that as my evening snack. I took another walk to finish off my steps for the day (and even exceeded them by a little).
This was another all protein only day with the exception of of a few non-starchy carbs. I'm glad I was able to get steps in. I have some appointments tomorrow so most likely I won't walk much if at all. Here is my Fitbit summary for the day. I actually printed this before the night was done so I got a few more steps in. I'm looking forward to the weekend. Hope you all have some fun plans. I'll check in tomorrow.
