I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

I was not able to eat breakfast today so my first meal was lunch.
Nope, no morning snack either but lunch is sounding good.
It was time to eat so I headed over to Happy Hound, my favorite local (tiny) burger joint. I had a Swiss burger. I cut it in half and had half, took the rest home. I shared French fries with catsup with Jim. I drank an ice tea (no sugar) first caffeine in a day and a half. This meal would be a Slimming World disaster (not really) but you'd gobble up your day's worth of syns and then some. By the way if you do a pig-out and exceeds your syns for a day you don't have to deduct from future days or make any type of atonement. You just get back on the wagon the next day and accept any weight gain or "lack of weight loss" as the consequences.
We took off for a walk about 1:00. It was about 79F out. I only got about 4800 steps in. I Will try to walk again later when it cools down more.
After not eating for so long the half burger was plenty filling. I had some iced coffee, 1 and 1/2 glasses to be exact.
I was a little hungry but I really was not up for fussing so I had a few steak slices. This is all "free food" in the Slimming World, world.
After dinner I headed out for another walk. It was down to 74F. I finished up my 10k steps for the day. Later I had half of a small cucumber, sliced with a tiny bit of Greek yogurt blue cheese dressing. I was still a little hungry so I ate the leftover meat and cheese from my lunch burger and tossed the rest in the trash. The cucumber is a free food and the low cal dressing may have been 1- 1.5 syns max.
It was a long day today. My meals were a little sketchy but nothing too bad, French fries notwithstanding. I got all my steps in so I'm happy about that. I should go back to a semi-normal diet tomorrow. I will still keep to mostly protein with a few non-starchy carbs.
