I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

I had a couple of slices of cheddar with a couple glasses of water because I can't have coffee, or tea or anything with caffeine. Within an hour I got hungry again so I had my leftover tuna salad in another fresh tomato I'm not typically a fish for breakfast person but it tasted good. After breakfast I had a few house and garden chores to tend to.
I had a few walnut haves and then a little beef jerky. I headed out for a walk around 11:00am. My energy is a little low so I figured I better get all my steps in now. By the time I made it to my front door I hit the 10k mark.
My meals and snacks just merged together today. My meals were more like snacks. I had a little piece of pork chop leftover from last night. I sliced that and ate it. I was still hungry so I sliced 3 slices of the leftover steak from last night and melted a little cheddar on top. Odd but it tasted not bad.
I had a few more slices of cheese some yellow and some white cheddar. I also sliced some red bell pepper. It was a reasonable snack. (I didn't eat all the cheese I shared some).
As much as I am a cheese and meat-a-vore I'm getting kind of tired of it. I didn't think I'd ever say this but I miss fruit. Meanwhile I was not up for cooking so I had a few more slices of leftover beef. I also served half an avocado, sliced with some kosher salt, pepper, a drizzle of olive oil and a little red wine vinegar.
No sweets allowed. I sliced half of a red bell pepper and munched on that as a treat. I also sipped on a couple glasses of San Pellegrino with the juice of one lime. This makes a refreshing and flavorful drink.
Eating almost all protein was fun for a couple of days but it would be hard to do long term. If I could just add a little fruit and some grains here and there it will be fine. I could not go to gym today because I'm not allowed any strenuous exercise. I'm a day and a half without coffee, can't wait until tomorrow afternoon when I can sip a cup again. See you then!
