I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

This day started off at 4:00am. It's a long story and I'll spare you the details.
This is as close to a healthy meal as I had today. Some fresh tomatoes from the garden, a few shreds of (getting long-in-the-tooth) basil. A little salt and pepper and a drizzle of olive oil too.
Part of the long story is I have a required immediate diet change which is temporary and I should go back to normal on Tuesday afternoon. I did have some slices of good cheddar cheese for a snack.
For dinner I had some beef jerky which is made locally, right up the street, good stuff. Later I have a few more slices of cheese including some Gruyere and a wonderful Welsh white cheddar.
Dessert is verboten!
My long, strange day lasted until I crashed on the sofa about 8:00 p.m. I woke up about 9:00 p.m. and went to bed.
