I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

I had errands to run which included a trip to the beach and included a trip to my favorite place that sells wonder ficelle sandwiches. I always remove 1/2 the bread and feed it to the birds, then I eat 1/2 of the sandwich for breakfast and save the other half for lunch.
By the way, in case you're not familiar with ficelle; the word refers to the little, thin baguette loaf of bread. You'll see sandwiches made on these little mini loaves all over Europe. They are typically just spread lightly with butter then topped with anything from salami, prosciutto or even just tomato slices and a little cheese.
I was still out and about at snack time so I just skipped it.
By the time I got home from errands I was ready to polish off the other half of my sandwich (less the extra layer of bread).
I'm not sure where the day went but I finally took a walk around 1:00. I never did bother having a snack. The walk was great though because it was only 78F out which is cool compared to the last few days.
When I got back from my walk I did some watering in the yard. It's hard to keep up with hand watering with all this heat. My raised garden beds have a drip system but even then the plants sometimes get too dry. I finally came in and realized I really had not planned anything for dinner. Thankfully I had most of the pork roast from last night leftover. I just sliced a couple pieces and served them with some sliced fresh tomato and cucumber. Slimming World wise, as long as I remove all the fat from the roast, and leave the oil off my vegetables it would be a "free" meal.
I had a snack attack again about an hour or so after dinner. I enjoyed 4 Hershey nuggets.
The good news is I got my steps in. The bad news is I over "syned" with breakfast and lunch I guess. Dinner was good (and easy too). Maybe I'll have some good news from the scale tomorrow, we'll see.
