I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

The house is already hot. It was all I could do to conjure up a couple things for breakfast that didn't involve much heat. I made a quick scramble with an egg and a slice of Canadian bacon. I toasted a slice of bread and served it with a teaspoon of butter. Sliced tomatoes would have been a nice add to the plate had I not used my last one the day before (more should be ripening soon).
I had an appointment Sunday morning at around 9am so I was out and about at snack time. That said I finally got home around 11:30am, in time for lunch.
I had my usual half sandwich, this one was made with Dave's Killer skinny bread, mayonnaise and about 1/2 ounce of Toscano salami.
Around 3:00 I had a a stick of light string cheese.
This is where my day went awry. It was hotter than heck and I would not even consider spending time standing in the kitchen but fact was I was getting pretty hungry. We decide to go to the little local Happy Hound (tiny burger / hot dog place) on the other side of town. Thank heavens it was early, their a/c was on and they were not crowded yet. After a few minutes of waiting (everything is prepared fresh) I tucked into a huge but delicious burger. I could not finish it so I took about 1/3 of it home. This was a departure from my otherwise healthy eating plan.
The only think I had when I got home was a big glass of ice water which I continued to sip throughout the evening. By 9:00pm it was still over 80F.
These hot days make getting out and walking really tough. I barely moved all day, less that 4k steps of my 10k daily goal. I've had two faster food type meals in the last week or so, not a good precedent. I'll shall mend my ways.
