I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

Gym day again! I fixed my usual Greek yogurt but this time zero fat, Nutrisystem Biscotti Bites, and some fresh peaches, sliced. These peaches from the local orchard are so good! Nothing like your typical grocery store fruit. So the yogurt and fruit is fine (all free foods) but the biscotti bites would come from the syns group. At this point I'm not tracking them because of the work it takes to figure it all out.
I took a short walk after the gym and came back an frothed my usual Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake.
I wanted to head out for another walk and it was late already, past 12:30. I microwaved a quick red potato and topped it with a little kosher salt and pepper. This made a nice, filling lunch. I did add a dollop of Fage Total 0 nonfat Greek yogurt for dipping. I headed out in the 80+ degree heat.
After my walk and came back and had a big glass of iced coffee. It was 87F out, hot for walking. Later I had one stick of light string cheese (a syn or 2).
I found two cucumbers and one ripe tomato in my garden so I prepped those for a salad with some balsamic vinegar. I purchased some 95% lean fresh ground beef and made a patty with some chopped onion, garlic powder, salt and pepper.
Later in the evening I had a bag of Nutrisystem Sweet and Salty Snack mix. This would be from the syns list which I still have not started counting, yet.
I got more than enough steps for my 10k goal, in fact over 13k. Aside from the crazy heat it was a good day all in all. Most my meals were in the "free food" category.
