I just came off of 325+ days on Nutrisystem where I lost 25-30 lbs (depending on what day I weigh). I plan to use the Slimming World Food Optimizing plan for continued weight loss. I'll be sharing with you my impressions, successes (and maybe failures) so you can decide if this plan is right for you.

Today was a strange meal day. I did take the time to make a pretty healthy, and Slimming World pleasing breakfast. I made a quick scramble with egg, Canadian bacon and green scallion. I served the eggs with with a sliced fresh peach and 1/2 of a light multi-grain muffin which I counted as my healthy extra "b".
After my reasonably hearty breakfast I set out to complete the spreading of my 3 yards of pea gravel I received yesterday. After that project was complete I made my daily Nutrisystem Chocolate TurboShake.
I had a little leftover sauce from last nights pasta. I had some tri-color rotini so I boiled that and served it with a little of my leftover sauce. This is considered a "free" all you can eat meal. One bowl was plenty for me. After lunch I headed out for another walk. It was pretty hot but was determined to get my 10K steps in.
When I got back from my walk I had a stick of Cheese Heads light string cheese.
It was so hot and lunch was pretty filling so I really didn't feel like prepping or eating much. I sliced a tomato from the garden and I made a sandwich with 1 slice Dave's Killer skinny bread, tomato, 1 teaspoon mayonnaise, and about an ounce of Toscano Salami (synsville). The tomatoes were so good I could have just had a tomato sandwich.
Of course I got hungry later. I had 6 Hershey's chocolate nuggets which are syns, total syns.
Hopefully my 2 days of excess exercise with help atone for my syns (haha, pun intended). It's back to the gym in the morning. See you then.
